Interesting...control the moon, get energy extraction card, then put the rest of the world on its knees as hydrocarbons run out. Sounds like Risk 2210 AD to me.
I just wonder where the first nuke territory will land....
A lot of it anyway. I'm incrementing the major version number to reflect my optimism about the code.
Now when you connect to a server, it will load the game currently being played and you can watch.
It doesn't display moves you make until the server accepts them, which creates a small delay, depending on the network, but this (along with a total rewrite of the network stuff) should fix the glitches we were having where games would freeze etc. There should be no more gui freezing from Lobby functions.
I just found this site, and am very impressed with the work you've done on the game! Now, I just need to find time to play!!
Sincerely,
Keith

I'd kneel to your superiority, but I've killed off so many of your troops that my leg has a cramp!
2.9.1
There's a point to this, really.... I fixed something else with the Lobby display, and---
I thought I had fixed the save/load bug, but apparently not...
There are people playing Invade Earth. Multiple simultaneous games today.
Well it's good that some people are still interested... because I randomly decided to work on the Godstorm rules today. I added the last 3 miracle cards, including the rather challenging Aegis, so aside from tie breakers (Pantheon uses the 2210 tie breakers---faith, units---instead of temples, gods) the rules are complete.
Other things I changed are:
-- AI doesn't like plagues any more
-- Changed the RSS namespace on the server list to "http://www.smileygames.net/invade/serverlist/"
my e-mail is Schlitz101@hotmail.com, usally on msn if i play.
