**BUG - LAND DEATH TRAP***

This was HIGHLY annoying during my very first game...

An opponent (agent) was attacking me in New Avalon from whatever water territory is beside it (New Ireland?).

I wanted to, but could not use the card "Land Death Trap". I had enough energy.

???

Impossible AIs

Hey Guys,

Ive been trying to mess around with the AIs to make them difficult but I find I still havent found the perfect AIs to make my game a struggle. I was wondering what all of you guys edit your AIs to to keep the game a challenge. Maybe if you guys could write in what you all personally edit I could try them all out. Thanks.

How do I go about compiling the source?

Risk 2210 Map

First, I would like to say, well done.

Secondly, I'm just wondering about the legality of using the Risk 2210 content / map. I'm in the process of developing a web-based offshoot of the game, based on your version. I notice you've GPL'd it, which I intend on doing as well, but I'm curious if that truly covers the legal issues of using their (Avalon Hill's) map, state / country names, and cards.

Version 3.1.2

Two things:

* Fixed a bug in Secret Mission risk---the "occupy 18 territories with 2 armies each" mission was functionally a copy of "occupy 24", and even said 24. Now it should work.

custom rules

when i play custom rules the game stops at year 7.

Bug in Secret Mission?

Hi

I was playing Risk Classic with secret mission yesterday, and something weird happened.

My friend had the mission "Occupy 24 territories with at least two armies in each territory".

When we play we like to go after world domination when possible, to maximize the humiliation :P, so my friend intentionally left only 1 army in each of his territories, while he plowed forward with his main army (towards world domination).

Console version for server?

I'd like two run a dedicated server (or two). However, my server of choice is a headless unix box without a windowing environment installed.

Is it possible to start the server java app from the command line (feeding it the necessary params), or do I have to install X-windows, and that whole rigamorale?

TIA,
f
