Trouble invading the (occupied) moon.

I buy a Space Commander but more often than not I can't invade the moon. I can totally conquer earth but the moon will be off limits. It's works better if there's an unoccupied territory up there but if it's all occupied I can't attack. It's weird. Any advice?

Is team play possible for this game? If not it would be a great improvement.

source code for invade earth

I am new to Java programming and I would love to look at a copy of the Invade Earth source code. Just so I can learn a thing or two about writing code for games like this. I would like to see how you guys did it.

Game will not load

I have an apple iBook G4, the software is fully updated, but when i try to load the game the program Java Web start opens, and then nothing happens. I then have to force quit the application because the only response is the little colored wheel that spins round when it is trying to do something.

Any ideas anyone?

failed connection: connection timed out

ive tried creating games and me and my friend cant login into it because we both get the same connection timed out message... so he created a game and the same happened... can anyone help me get a game going or tell me how to fix it please

Permanent Servers Up.

I put up three servers on my other computer. I'm running it on a standard comcast cable connection.

If anyone can connect please let me know.

Invade Earth server - multiple games?

How difficult would it be to extend the Invade Earth server to support multiple simultaneous games on one server?

I think the invade earth client may have a ram leak somewhere in it. Or maybe it's because of the way the gameplay saves every single turn?

The client process starts at around 30-40 megs, much like the server. However, after two games and 26 turns, it was nearly 90 megs... and continued to rise until every player was disconnected from the server.

The army usage/placement slider is fantastic, but it was a little glitchy on startup. I dunno if it was a one-time thing or not.
