Wow, this game is awesome! I can't believe more people don't play it. I guess it's because it's so hard to find. I did searches for 'play risk online' and 'online risk game' and didn't find it. I only happened upon from Risk 2210's wikipedia page.
Anyway, I noticed some bugs/UI features that are lacking, but I don't really expect them to ever be changed if nobody is working on the game!
BUGS:
- Rules for 2 players not implemented correctly
- Slider for selecting units only take up 1/4 of the pane, when it could take up the whole pane (making it easier to select things)
FEATURE REQUEST:
- Undo button to undo all moves for turn (mistakes)
- Selecting the number of units to place during setup or reinforcements not reset itself every time

Invade Earth is still actively developed, but only when the lead developer has time.
I also think that more people would play if they knew about the game... I need to work on promoting it more. Feel free to link to us from your website or blog, that always helps move us up in the search rankings. :)
I think I'm going to build a Linux package for the game sometime soon, and then I'll make a Wikipedia page for the game. Until then, though, I'm not sure we are well known enough to have our own Wikipedia page.
As far as I know, an undo button might be possible, but there are some other priorities at the moment. It might be a good idea to save your game occasionally; also, there are some menu options that you might want to mess with to tweak how the game works for you.
I still work on it occasionally, though I'm on vacation for a while. There are some things fixed on my computer that I didn't put in the latest release because it needed more work.
- Rules for 2 players not implemented correctly
> That's technically true... though usually we play with AI rather than 2 players straight. A somewhat active AI is more fun than a true "neutral" player, and using LazyAgent gets a pretty similar result anyway.
- Slider for selecting units only take up 1/4 of the pane, when it could take up the whole pane (making it easier to select things)
> If I understand correctly, that's a bug that showed up recently... hopefully I can fix it in the next version.
- Undo button to undo all moves for turn (mistakes)
> That is, unfortunately, too complicated to be added without rewriting most of the rules for Invade Earth. Of course there are some things you logically should *not* be allowed to undo, like invasions, drawing cards etc. (since you would be changing your mind based on information you didn't have) Saving has a bug under some conditions when you are not on the internet; it seems to work pretty well for online games.
- Selecting the number of units to place during setup or reinforcements not reset itself every time
> Not quite sure what you mean... but you can select 1, 2, or 3 units by pressing Alt+1, Alt+2, or Alt+3. That feature was added recently due to user request :)
If you two new players would like to join some of my games feel free to message me either by MSN or email at Junky1212@hotmail.com

- Selecting the number of units to place during setup or reinforcements not reset itself every time
> When placing say 20 units and you click on the "3" button, place them, then go to supposedly place another 3 without hitting the button it will place all units. Very annoying sometimes. Especially when you have a ton of units to place. Right now everyone just has to remember to always hit the ammount of MODs before placing each and every time.
- Slider for selecting units only take up 1/4 of the pane, when it could take up the whole pane (making it easier to select things)
> Yeah gets bad when you have 30 guys to place and all the numbers are overlapped. Have to try and place 3 at a time.
Remember to use Alt+3 (or 2 or 1) as a shortcut, it's much faster for placing units.
That last thing is a gui glitch I've had a hard time tracking down. There is a workaround... you can change the size of the pane by dragging the divider; drag it back and forth once and it should fix it.
How about seperate windows for chat and combat messages?
Re: Is this game still being worked on?
Don't know if it is still being worked on, but I just found it today. I LOVE this game. I bought the board game 5 or 6 years ago, but love how easy it is to play a game now (no long setup time required!)
THanks author for making this game.
I would reiterate the feature request of Big J Money to make an UNDO button...I accidently move some MODs with a mouse click and then I'm stuck or have to start over.
Thanks again!
