Hi,
I have been playing on a Mac and the colors of troops never match the dolours on the scoreboard. Sometimes there is even a clash of colours.
It's playable, but it isn't when there is a clash which happens more when there are more players.
This has happened with the latest runtime for Java and on more than one Mac.
Is there anything I can do to fix this? Cheers.

I wonder when Sun is going to fix this...
Is there any easy workaround we could use for now? Maybe separate player images (a square, a triangle, etc)?
The simplest thing to do is find colors that work... then you can Save/Load the player list from the players dialog. That saves the color/name/agent choices. I don't have a Mac so I can't really test it.
In my own testing, it looks like the colors somehow get shifted a bit... blue becomes purplish, purple becomes pink, and so on. I'll have to look at the code to see if there's a function that uses platform-specific information, maybe something is throwing it off.
Incidentally... Sun doesn't write the Java Runtime for Mac, Apple does. That's why new versions are always late etc.
Ah, ok. Although the Linux version was having the same problem as the Mac version... that's why I think it might be something with Sun's code.
Re: Wrong colours for MODs
it's a problem with the Java Runtime on Macs. you can change the colors on the player select screen; some people have found colors that work better on Macs. sorry about that.
