I played land death trap:
I had 3 pieces on a space station (no commanders)
opponent had 5 pieces and a land commander.
After the land death trap he had 2 units and a land commander and after the attack he had 0 units and a land commander (lost on both dice).
Now i get the question: "To where will the units retreat?" ... noting I select is a valid move.
aah, true. Was using the amoeba rules... however there was no Amoeba on the map (had already wiped them out).
The amoebae turn over an "event card" before each player's turn. Even after you kill them all, more will come. Results in a pretty crazy game :)
Right, and they will "appear" just wherever?
There is a possibility then that I was working in the wrong area to have my troops retreat.
possibly a better indicator: "To where will the units retreat?" to "From Iceland GRC: To where will the units retreat?" ...?
It should say:
Aliens invade Iceland GRC.
To where will the units retreat?

Re: Land death trap bug
Were you playing with Amoeba rules? Land Death Trap should never ask that question. Retreating happens only when amoebas attack. Even if you can't retreat anywhere, you should still be able to decline a retreat by clicking the defending territory (forcing you to fight off the aliens).
