Stealth Station bug?

Hi

First of all, thanks for making a great board game available online, amazing piece of work :D

I played a game against 3 A.I. Players and I noticed a weird thing with the Stealth Station (Land) card. I just finished my turn in year 5 when I was attacked by a computer opponent and I decided to play Land Death Trap. The opponent still outnumbered me, so I then wanted to toss a stealth station down on my territory for some better defense, but I wasn't able to play it, I had to acknowledge the attack and I lost my territory. For the rest of the turn I wasn't able to play my card against any of the opponents.

While writing this post I suddenly remembered that I most likely were maxed out on space stations, but I'm not 100%. Anyways, when using stealth station (or invading other territories with space stations), don't you get the option normally to destroy an existing station and then keep the one you placed/won?

Thanks again for a great game :D

Regards
Jimmi

Re: Stealth Station bug?

Thanks for playing it and giving comments :)

Invade Earth follows the general rule that you cannot have more than 4 space stations (simulating the board game limit of 4 pieces in each color). You build a 5th or play a card that would cause you to have more than 4 stations. If you have 4 stations on the board and then you conquer a territory with an enemy station, the station is destroyed. As far as I can tell, this follows the rules of 2210 pretty carefully, though you could argue it's a rather technical and picky thing to include :)
