Hi,
when I play this card, a random land territory is selected - were can I see which territory is that ?
- so far, unless I conquere it by chance, or already have it, I have no way of knowing were it is.

Under the Active Cards display (cards tab, then click Active). It will show you any cards that are "in play", as well as who or what they affect (scout forces, frequency Jam, cease fire, etc.).
